SciFri was designed by PTA parents who wanted to enhance our students' science experiences. We continue this mission today, working to spark students' passion for science before they realize what's happening!

Mark these dates on your calendar! Don't miss unique experts from a variety of science fields sharing their knowledge with our students:

  • Friday Oct. 14
  • Friday Jan. 20
  • Friday March 10
  • Friday May 12
SciFri is an event where parents are encouraged to participate and interact with their child(ren). NOTE: these are NOT drop off events. Sometimes we break the event into two sessions based on grade level. All sign-ups are done online.

 ** VOLUNTEERS NEEDED **

If you and your child love all things STEAM+ come join the Science Friday committee to help plan and advertise our four awesome events we’ll be having this year. Time commitment would be approximately 4 hours a month.

Questions? Ideas? Please don't hesitate to contact our SciFri Committee Chair.

SciFri: 2021-2022 School Year

Once COVID restrictions were lifted the SciFri committee squeezed in two curiosity-sparking events before the school year's end.

At the MAGIC OF SCIENCE event our kids learned about the science behind the things that make our amazing world work.  Chemistry, magnetism, optical illusions, physics, and mathematics were all demonstrated in an energetic performance.

Kids also took a journey through the world of FIRE & ICE through a variety of chemical reactions that "magically'' made things disappear and revealed secret properties. Additionally, each student was invited to stop at the take home experiment station.
