HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Sign-ups are done online and a lottery system is used to choose participants in both the Fall and Spring. When sign-ups are open, an email with the link to the form is sent to all families via email from the school office. **This link was sent in the 1/5 Dolphin Digest.
Students who did not participate in the club last year have first priority. Students who attend Fall club are not eligible for Spring. Students may attend one session per year. Names will be drawn from each grade level in equal rotation until all spots are filled. Parents will be contacted by email if their child's name is drawn.
EXPECTATIONS:
1. Students will be willing to work hard and run while having fun for 45 minutes after school.
2. Students will be able to work with other age levels and classes, and will treat club members with respect.
3. Students will have enough time to attend on Wednesdays. If your Wednesday afternoons are busy, please leave room in the club for students who can attend regularly.
WHERE DOES IT MEET?
Iron Dolphins Running Club meets at the lunch pavilion at 2:30 pm. Activities are done on the field and the upper grade blacktop. Club ends at 3:15pm back in the pavilion.
IS THERE A WAIVER?
Yes. All participants must have the waiver signed before the first meeting. Download the waiver here.
WHAT IS THE COST?
Iron Dolphins is fully subsidized by the Del Mar Heights PTA. All participants are provided with t-shirts, snacks, and are invited to attend the end-of-the-year mega party, Water Wednesday.
