SciFri (aka, Science Friday) was designed by PTA parents to enhance our students' science experiences. We continue this mission today, working to spark students' passion for science before they realize what's happening!
Unique experts from a variety of science fields share their knowledge with our students in events held throughout the school year!
SciFri is an event where parents are encouraged to participate and interact with their child(ren).
NOTE: these are NOT drop off events. Sometimes we break the event into different sessions based on grade level and/or space. All sign-ups are done online.

SciFri: 2021-2022 School Year
Once COVID restrictions were lifted the SciFri committee squeezed in two curiosity-sparking events before the school year's end. At the MAGIC OF SCIENCE event our kids learned about the science behind the things that make our amazing world work. Chemistry, magnetism, optical illusions, physics, and mathematics were all demonstrated in an energetic performance. Kids also took a journey through the world of FIRE & ICE through a variety of chemical reactions that "magically'' made things disappear and revealed secret properties. Additionally, each student was invited to stop at the take home experiment station. |
